Ø  Check previous price list to negotiate & update capacity plan & choose prod unit when sending inquiries to suppliers.
Ø  Follow up to get best price from the suppliers and analyze the price a/c to our range, quality and best lead-time.
Ø  Negotiate to supplier regarding best price, dev sample and possible options to reduce & obtain more competitive price.  
Ø  Give feedback to buyers as well as deadlines for inquiries and samples as per pre-order method.
Ø  If confirmed then hand over all details of order and offer sample/style sample to the Asst. Merchandiser to follow up.
Ø  Analyze risk assessment with Team leader and Technicians in pre-order stage.
Ø  Forward the order to supplier together with new label information.
Ø  Analyze upon receipt, enter follow up items in KappAhl order tracking system (KOTS) & follow up to keep track of update status & make sure HOD is on time.
Ø  Strongly communicate with suppliers & work actively with GMT technician.
Ø  Follow up BO comments & send it to supplier transparently.
Ø  Update asst. merchandiser to check style sample fitting, technical points, children safety & fill in sample report.
Ø  Analyze comments for fitting & mmts found from BO & then asst. merchant send to supplier with adding comments if required.
Ø  Provide PP comments to supplier after checking counter sample all details with passed external test report & send head office for advice.
Ø  Asst. Merchant receives external test report & after checking specimen by myself for final approval of counter sample.
Ø  Seal if CS is approved & prepare QC file according to check list & hand over QC for inspection.

During final inspection above 4 reports should be checked by buying QC along with external test report & if pass then inspection was started.

Ø  Fabric faults & Marker:
Worked with different fabric faults such as abrasion mark, double pick, oil stain, hole, bow, skew, crease, dye stain, miss-pick, slubs, screen out, calendar line, contamination.

Regarding CSV, checked fabric part-to-part shade variation & if cut able then use block marker for block cutting for each size to save maximum fabric wastage.
